That's good to hear!    How was the show overall?    Still got it?    Heavy on new stuff or good mix?

I loved the show.  I saw them several times back in the early-mid 90's and they have not lost a thing over the years in terms of Chris Cornell's voice, Kim Thayall's playing, or their chemistry as a group.

The sets are a good mix of old and new.  I like the new album quite a bit, so I was happy to hear the new songs.  In terms of older stuff, they play some pretty cool picks, and throw in some unexpected song choices, which is cool.

In 2011 when they did the first reunion tour, I lucked out on the timing of a business trip to Denver and got to see them at Red Rocks, which was amazing.
My heart can't wait to meet you on the other side.

Earth, Wind & Fire Saturday night! Just scored last minute free tickets. They're playing an outdoor show at the lovely Botanic Gardens less than a mile from my house here in Memphis. I'd much rather be at Bonnaroo but this is a nice consolation.

Cool John!  I saw from one of Bob Mould's facebook posts that he had a date in Iowa City, I was wondering if you were going to make it.

His current shows are awesome.  The new material is great, and expect to hear some great old Husker Du songs as well.

Enjoy, though that won't be tough to do.  Ruckus, Flake and I caught him in Baltimore last night and it was fantastic!

Really looking forward to it.  Saw Mould billed as "solo acoustic" in Georgetown about 15 years ago, though he immediately threw his acoustic guitar off-stage and strapped on an electric for a powerhouse set.  Actually brought my parents to that show.  Mom loved it but Dad would have preferred Mould kept the acoustic.  No such baggage this time around.  Can't wait!

Way to go, John.  jump right into the local music scene.

Have a blast, and give us a report on the show, as well as the Englert, and local crowd.
