Where are you in NH?  I grew up in Franklin, went to UNH in the late 80s, moved to the Carolinas in the 90s, came back in the 2000s, lived and taught high school in Hillsboro and Newport, got my masters at Keene State, and moved to Iowa just two years ago.
The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

We're in Walpole.  My wife is getting her masters at Antioch University in Keene.

I live in MA and have a strange fixation with moving to Keene or surrounding town. I havnt visited in a long while but I was there during Pumpkin Fest in the 90s. Housing looks real cheap. But jobs are likely hard to come bye. How do you guys like it?

We have mixed feelings on it.  We moved here from Denver and it took a while to get over the culture shock.  The pace of life is much slower here and the food options are a little limited.  Employment has been tough, but there are options, especially if you're willing to commute a bit.  That being said, it's incredibly beautiful.  I've spent more time outdoors in the past year and a half than I had in the many years before.
Within 3+ hours, you can catch shows in Boston, Burlington, Portland, Portsmouth, Providence, New Haven, Northampton, and Albany.
