I saw Jim at the Patterson Hood show last night at Headliner's!  He cut his hair, but has the beard.  Pretty much looks like this:

I thought it was great.  His acoustic set at Ear X-tacy was very intimate, but some of the songs that night had more "feeling" plugged in.

Will Johnson was great!

Good to see the beard is back. Maybe next time I see him I won't wonder who that 12 year old was on stage playing with the guys from My Morning Jacket.
