The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

Sweet Nothing

Guess this screws up my chance of making my At Dawn trade for the 'Roo '08, but glad that others that were asking me for it have a chance to buy it for the cost that the artist was selling it for.

Sweet Nothing

Wanted to place my in search of poster here also, i was hoping that there might be someone that has an LA Burwell from the Dec. 1st show that would be willing to make a trade for the NYC Burwell from Dec. 14th?  I know that e_wind had mentioned this before me in another thread so i would be next in line if this trade happens to develop.

Contact me if you're searching for an ISM T5...

For all those in search of a Burwell '04 MMJ Portland poster there is currently a listing of it on ebay  with one bid of only $40.  I might try and bid on it but figured i would let the rest of the forum folks know just in case they might be looking for this one.  If others are looking for it just post or send me a pm so i know not to bid against you.  It's a listing from the UK and the shiping costs are fairly reasonable.

As for another MMJ Burwell, i have an extra MSG 2011 poster for a fellow forum member if they are still looking for it.  I first have to check with one other forum member to see if they got one but if they have it then my is up for grabs.  Figured i would give others a shot that missed out on it here instead of having to see if you won an auction on ebay for it.  Just send me a pm and i will get back to you, hope this helps someone get a poster that they were looking for.

Haven't scoured too hard yet but figured I'd put it out there...think there is only 400 prints...anyone know where to find one or how much one would shell out for it at this time?

Nice pic!  That's my copy, held onto the side of my fridge by my kids' magnetic alphabet letters.

This one comes up from time to time, anywhere from $40 to $140, depending on condition and luck.  I'll keep an eye out.  You might also check Expresso Beans, set up an account, and include it in your "wanted" list.  Other members, looking to sell, might contact you.

Its one of my favorites, no longer on the fridge.

Also, check out the comments from Guy and others from GigPosters.com-

listen to Strangulation and picture him singing that to the landscape, telling the wind about those people he knew.

a year into the isolation, the cold and the freeze-dry took it's toll on his old acoustic and the only good it could do would be to add to that row of grave markers along the ridge. old pipes and empty gas bottles, a few strands of filament and a handfull of loose screws and threaded machine parts came together to make a makeshift instrument to pluck as the seven-month sun cycle finally gave way to a seven week sunset. it wasn't in any kind of tune and the hollow reverberation didn't warm the heart enough to stand the coming cold but it was enough to fill the endless wintry lonliness, and just enough to accompanying the last cracking whispers of a song forced through dry lips singing their last. ---- pedini has the right story going. i like to think of most posters as having a story behind the image (i use a lot of figures so there ought to be a story for the character) and the story is as you make it. the band's music does reverb and also spells out a lot of forlorn moments as well as blast offs (see my other mmj poster where the figure rocks to the sunrise/sunset). Jim James specifically asked for NO COUNTRY imagery for some things we are working on. So...
As for my type, it speaks well of you.

Now I feel scared and alone and I don't know what to do. I don't like this poster anymore.

Pedini :

or picture jim james traveling through time and trying to make it in the indy scene of a barren, wintery post-apocalyptic future... eventually succumbing to the strain of being a stranger and playing his last gig to the wasteland... never to be heard from again

Michael Apparatus :
Gotcha.
I was really just making light of the big "A Question" debate going on in the forums.

Pedini :
michael- to me it looks like the desolate feeling in the MMJ songs I really like, like bermuda highway for instance. I can just imagine that that wasted microphone once had an assload of reverb on it

Eric/e_wind is a nice guy so if he has one for you i would deal with him but if not you can still purchase these from the printers at Diesel Fuel Prints...here is the link for this poster but you should be able to find it cheaper from someone on ExBean.

Hope this helps.

I'm not sure you'd find it much cheaper on EB, but I guess it's worth a shot.  I think it's Guy's best MMJ print (sans maybe the Portland Alladin print), it's fantastic and well worth $75.

sorry, man. going through the portfolio I remember the 2nd one I ordered was actually sold out from a print shop in london (where it was only 25$!!!!), so they let me pick another print instead. I forgot that happened.
