My boss just moved my deadline to 6/10 so it's looking really good for me! I just need to try to stay off of here the remainder of the week and get some work done (hmmmmmm)... See you all Fri/Sat hopefully!

good for you my friend; at least one of us gets to go. i have to work the stupid hot 97 show. wish i were there w/ you.. can't believe i'll be missing a 3 hour festival-closing set (w/ horns). oh well, at least i heard all the new songs on the live stream last tuesday =)

For real?   :D Are you sure?  3 hour set w horns!?!  I convinced myself I could skip this because I figured it would just be a typically shorter festival set list like at hangout.  Might have to start making some last minute plans...

things that have come to light w/in the past few weeks that i wish i'd known earlier:

1) groupon's offer - totally could've swung the whole weekend pass @ that price
2) friend's bachelorette weekend plans changed, AGAIN, making it impossible for me to attend so $ budgeted for that was freed up
3) brother-in-law's best friend's vaca house offered as place to crash

sonofabitch!!!  timing is everything  :-X

still very much looking forward to being there for sunday.  cannot wait!  especially after watching the l'ville stream.  i've been drooling over the thought that we could have horns courtesy of phjb...  :D

laura & i should be arriving early enough on sunday to meet up for some pre-festy fun w/ the gang.  please let me know what we can bring - what need re-stocking etc.  can't wait to see y'all/yinz/youz guyz

Car is packed.  My students are gonna love Mr. Y tomorrow, with my mind on getting on the road when that bell rings at 2:53!  I expect to shake hands and/or hug every forum peep on the mountain.  Listen for some Omnichord; it'll be either me or Yim.

have a blast buddy!! if it's anything like the hangout (which i am sure it will be better considering they are closing) you are in for some kind of treat...u need to come down south this august...if the tuscaloosa date holds up on the 19th(which i'm sure it will) then my roommate and i r gonna be doing 3 in a row...already got the tix for alpharetta and charlotte so the places i had a question mark about going to are taken care of...now it looks like they are trying to add a show in my backyard the night before we leave for the atl. i mean it's like they knew my plans! this summer is gonna be wonderful

MMJ certainly killed it tonight (as if there would be any questions)... 2.5 hours nonstop (except when only the monitors where on and then once that was fixed, jim's mic wasn't on a bit)... the weather also held off and though a little chilly no rain

Amazing show. Phone went west was stellar and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band were great as well. Hope someone has a full setlist.
