Followed by a performance!

Fuck yes.

oistheone

So now the question becomes -- for someone who has never ventured into the cinema tent, just how do you go about doing that? Any tickets or lines or anything like comedy or do you just waltz on in?

e_wind

LONNNGGGG LINES cause people like to get in the AC. get there early!

and the fact that jim and others will be performing in there also, you better get there extra early. should be good, can't wait to hear a report.
don't rock bottom, just listen just slow down...

It depends on what's showing.  I've always walked right in *shrug* but if the performance is well advertised, there might be a line.

Highly recommend everyone who's going to Roo to check out this doc. Danny Clinch is a fascinating dude in his own right, and the film stars our very own Sassbox   ;)  It was definitely the highlight of my SXSW this year.
if it falls apart or makes us millionaires

Why does my mind blow to bits everytime they play that song?

I'm in on this!! The second showing EVER? What an opportunity...

It conflicts with Warren, and I think a good bit of people will go see Lewis Black at the same time too. Lets fill that front row  :D

Does anyone think that the boys will hang around for the entire weekend? In 2009, one year the band didn't perform, I spotted Patrick rocking out side stage for TV on the Radio. The next day my friends and I saw Patrick casually walking through the crowd during Wilco. I got up and ran a 50 yard dash just to shake his hands. Prob my best memory of 09'.

What does everyone think?

That'd be awesome if they hung around. The Sunday SuperJam certainly needs a drummer...

The jacket / arcade fire back to back is what this whole festival is about to me.

Does anyone know what the process is for getting into the pit.   I have only gone in on very lightly crowded shows.      Do they clear it out between sets, or once you have a spot you are locked in if you dont leave.

I assume there is no way to go to the bathroom / food and get in and out of the pit area.

I will more than likely be looking to try to lock down a place where I can set a blanket right behind the pit area before the decembrist and just holding this down for the rest of the sunday main stage.

Ill have four to five in my group but would luv to have a big spot next to likeminded fans that can help each other by watching thier spots, locking down other spots, etc.

If anyone is interested in meeting up shoot me a text referecning MMJ bonnaroo 515.255.1784

I'm out.  :'(  The same stomach problem that forced me to leave the Louisville show has gone into hyper drive and now I'm facing surgery or 2 weeks on a "no solid foods" diet to heal my damaged g.I. tract. And if that's the case, Chicago is out too. I'm dying inside right now. I'm missing Bonaroo,  missed 1/2 of Louisville (which I could have made it through, but my friends desire to leave made the choice easier) and now Chicago and maybe Minneapolis. I waited all year, bought all my tickets and airfares. And now this happens.  :'( Ever seen a grown man cry? I can't even listen to CIRCUITAL without screaming and throwing things. I wanna rip out my stomach and stomp on it.

Oh man, that is awful. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery and pain-free MMJ shows in your future.

Aw, man.  So sorry, Deja.  The important thing is to take time and heal - Roo is NOT the kind of place you want to be with a stomach ailment anyway!  There will be more shows, and you will see lots of them.  Lots and lots.

Take care. :bath:

Man that's rough. Take the time to get better, you'll thank yourself later when you can hit all the shows in good health.

glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.   Following your story is a roller-coaster.   You should have your own reality show.

Thanks friends! Ill pass on the reality show tho. And really.... who wants to watch that tragedy? I'm glad its now seemingly on the way to being over. No pain all day today and stocked up for a buzzed night of buds, bonaroo and lots of damn good soup. Looks like ill make Chicago next week after all and I'm bringing something the whole band signed and just sent to me to contribute to the roll call charity auction!
