The fact that my heart's beating,
Is all the proof you need

YouAre_GivenToFly

Thanks for posting this!!

Key points:

"on their new album, Circuital (out this spring),"

"This is the most live record we've ever done,"

"We want people to have almost the exact opposite experience they had last time."

"Black Metal," for instance, is augmented by massed female voices and what sounds like wah-wah-ed horns — a combo that lands the song somewhere between "Superfly" and "Just Dropped In (To See What Condition My Condition Was In)."

"So now, twice, Muppet glory has been within my grasp," says James. "It's pretty heartbreaking, but it did propel us just to kick into high gear and finish our own record."
The wind blew me back, via Chicago, in the middle of the night.

Potential Circuital album tacklist thus far:

10 minutes shorted than EU is approx. 46 minutes.

Victory Dance
Holdin on to Black Metal
Out of My System
Wonderful
Circuital
Moving Away (Was that the name from the Storytellers show?)
Friends Again (?)

Edit: Did not see the in-depth listing of the songs on the Wonderful thread.
Oh, I will dine on honey dew And drink the Milk of Paradiseeeee

And just let MMJ do something Muppet related already, come on!

You know what I'm expecting? I'm expecting the modern day version of this album:

Not saying it'll be derivative, or mimicky, or anything like that. Just based on Circuital alone plus the band's descriptions thus far. I think we're in for a good ride.

"Circuital feels like the culmination of the sonic adventures the band began with 2005's Z — while also capturing the power and dynamics that have made MMJ one of the greatest live bands of their generation"

God that one line made me so freakin excited for this album.

I think the new album should be called "We're releasing this sh*t tomorrow."
Cow temperature.

Well, until it's released, it will be hard to have a "Peace of mind"

This thread is being "johnnYYacked"!

All these Boston references reminded me of an early post of mine.  Check out a demo bootleg of Boston before their first album, with alternate lyrics to the above-referenced tunes: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=5YAOMWIE

We now return you to your regularly scheduled thread, already in progress...
