While reading the Spin reviews of the 5 NY shows last fall, I saw the last song of the first show was called Lil Billy. Since there were pretty obscure covers in that encore, is there any chance that song was the Who's Little Billy? That was a song commissioned by the American Cancer Society about smoking, and had some of the BEST early Keith Moon riffs.

From Nashville to Kentucky:

"Lil Billy (rough-live Nashville 2001)
to be released on: "Tennessee Fire & At Dawn Demos" CD (February 2007)
note: recorded live at the Exit/in, Nashville, TN, August 1, 2001"

When I play my mp3 collection of MMJ (which includes many of the live tapings) on shuffle, Lil Billy seems to come up fairly often.  So, I've never regarded it as that obscure.

This is the earliest setlist to contain the tune:

2000-01-27 Rotown - Rotterdam, The Netherlands
1. At Dawn
2. Old September Blues
3. Picture Of You
4. Evelyn Is Not Real
5. One Big Holiday
6. I Will Sing You Songs
7. War Begun
8. By My Car
9. Tyrone (Erykah Badu)
10. The Bear
11. Lil Billy
12. I Will Be There When You Die

I'd have to say Lil Billy was one of my T5 highlights, they killed it.

I wasn't there, so I'm loving this vid from a different perspective.  Still, just incredible.  Most notable to me is Tommy rockin' out!  I don't think I've ever seen him that intense, though admittedly I don't always keep an eye on him on stage; Jim likes to be the center of attention.  TOMMY!!!
