im not totally opposed to rain. every show i ever go to outside is hardly sprinkles and i always say I wish it would open up!

though it would ruin the tailgate. this brings me to my next question, is it unethical/illegal to actually tailgate (drink) outside the venue while waiting

Tailgating before a show at RR is a time honored tradition. I promise the whole parking lot will be filled with tailgaters - but mostly folks with reserved seats have the luxury to hang out til right before the show.

I am still looking for one Flaming Lips ticket. For the people on this thread attending, here is a bit of a preview from a Wayne Coyne interview in Westword:

When the band plays The Dark Side of The Moon in its entirety live at Red Rocks, Coyne says, bits of the Wizard of Oz will be inserted into the live performance "so there's all that stoner mythology connection and all that."

"Everybody knows a little bit of the Wizard of Oz music, even though they think they know more than they do," Coyne says.  "We got these great little movies that play along with it. It's an absurd and an intense thing for sure. To me, some of The Dark Side of the Moon stuff does get a very sort of similar melancholy in it. Inserting the Wizard of Oz stuff in there is such an absurd element of that music. It's otherworldly. You just go, 'What the fuck?'

Hey guys...I have all access V.I.P. front row tickets...how I got these is another story...but if anyone needs me to run back to my car with posters/merch, I'm more than happy to do that.  This way you wont lose your spot and you wont risk your poster getting wet.  I'll be in the lot EARLY!! I'll be flying my new Colorado My Morning Jacket flag.  Im in the process of finishing it right now.  But picture this.  The Colorado flag, but instead of the yellow circle in the middle, it's going to be the "green eye" and then to the right of it, it's going to say "ircuital".  The big 'C' will complete the name.  Can you dig it?

I'm starting to get more and more excited. flight leaves out of baltimore wednesday. I've been doing some research on things to do, places to go and food to eat. One of my dreams is to see a show at Red Rocks...feels good to do something like this.

For the folks buying posters, 3 years ago you bought a ticket/token and then could redeem after the show.  Been to Red Rocks a bunch, but the only time i bought a poster so don't know if this "token" idea is Red Rocks or mmj.  A tube might come in handy as its a hike back down to parking lot.  And btw, the poster was awesome three years ago (Guy Burwell), hoping for something cool
