giving you a rather intimate peek into my home life: just today am doing the laundry from camp crispy.  you should all be proud to hear that my hoodie still exuded strong CC Campfire Aroma™.  :o

another fave moment:  matthewj. & i came down from the campfire to watch the meteor shower & lightning storm on the cabin porch.  when we got into the cabin, vespa was in deep slumber on the couch, audibly sawing logs.  mj looked at her sweetly and said, "that's my baby!"
penny & soulshine laughed from the downstairs bedroom.  ;D

as august winds down and i start to reflect on the summer, no doubt the RR days are easily at the top of the list of the summer's biggest highlight.

Just got my RR poster back from Michaels.  Matted and framed and now proudly hanging across from our MSG NYE poster.  I have about a dozen mmj posters from various shows but only the RR and MSG posters are matted and professionally framed.  They look awesome and I will never cease to smile when I look at them each and every day.

2008/9 had NYE at MSG
2010 had 5 at T5
2011 had RR
can't wait to see what next year brings?
was some shakin' and some record playin'

I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

C'mon, sawing logs? You must be mistaken.  Are you calling me out on the delicate flower rep I've worked so hard to maintain?

Mayhaps. ::) :embarassed:

YES! I'm pretty sure he tried our side first.  You know, because we rule and all.  But then, since there were no Jazz Hands in sight he wandered over to Crispy's side. Pretty, pretty, pretty, sure.

I think you guys are right, and he did venture a short way up on Carl Side, but then he felt the gravitational pull of the Jazz Hands.  ;D

Or it might have been after the Birth, and he figured there wasn't any point in going all the way up the other side after that. Memory's a little fuzzy.

Nothing fuzzy about my memory of VC cutting trees on the couch at the cabin, though.

i was in my sleeping bag on the floor downstairs.  all i'm gonna say is that i sleep better w/ white noise in the background.  and i slept like a baby ;)

that's quite a streak headhunter!  long may it continue ;)

i'm sure the matted & framed RR poster added that extra-something to your office.  which was already the coolest looking office i've ever set eyes upon.  my favorites, however, are the "jim james friend pictures".

for the record crispy, teo & c-love, this is what the car-i-lament-selling-back-in-the-day looked like.  only diff:  mine was gold w-black interior and top.

Oh, Crispy. That Jazz Hands story is marvelous. I'm feeling a little lightheaded...

Can we go back to the cabin? Please? In my 7th hour of cataloging video and unrolling 35mm film at work today, I started daydreaming about standing out there under those stars...so many stars in that sky. We don't have that here...too much light pollution.

Cow temperature.

ms. yvon

cataloging video?  what are you working on, ky?  ???

Right on, e-wind.  Great pics - thanks for posting.  Still can't believe I didn't make the trek...
Give me a butt load of reverb on this one - just pile it on.

Those Owl stickers are fantastic!  Were those eWind's?  I'm so confused about board names v. actual names these day.  Anywho, I have one of the small owl ones, but I couldn't find it when I put this frame together (Matthew had stuck it in his book). A large one would be pretty sweet to add to the frame.  (Conveniently, when we fly into PDX there is an IKEA essentially down the block and we just popped in for meatballs a frame for this bad boy on our way home).
It was my husband Matt (mr mtngurl) that made the owl stickers. If anyone wants one you can send me a self addressed stamped envelope and I'll get one out to you. pm me and I'll give you my address.

Hey Kristin - got the stickers.  AWESOME!  Thanks, again.  8)
