This will be funnier to some of us than others  :)

Given the opportunity, there are probably a lot of tiny, superficial things you say to your fourteen-year-old self, (Get a haircut; Stop being a smartass; Maybe try not masturbating for, like, a night, and see what that does to the amount of free time you have). Small things you wish you'd known, because they would've made middle school, high school and whatever comes after slightly easier.

There are also much bigger things, things about life and growing up that someone damn sure should've told you about.

Be the cliché you want to see in the world.

Great list Tracy! Cracked has a lot of fun lists. This one is particulary revelent. I'm going through a few of these revelations as we speak. Forget about summers and weekends! Finding less time for fun, friends. I get home on a Friday night and just wanna veg. The biggest change is my motivation for shows, MMJ excluded. They used to be my life. Never thought of passing up a local show/concert for any band I'd even been marginally interested in seeing. These days I've passed up a few good ones without so much as a second thought. This happens for a few reasons:
- fiancee doesn't want to
- I'm too tired.
- Money
- don't wanna stand through several shitty bands for 3 hours before the main act.
- Younger crowds.
- Show goes too late.
- No one else wants to go.
None, legitimate excuses for my 23 yr old self or for anyone to pass up a show, let alone myself. My 27 yr old self envies and gets nostalgic for my 23 yr old self, while my 23 yr old self is shaking his head and askin "what happened to you man?" But it just happens I guess, I still get to my fair share of shows tho.
Oh, I will dine on honey dew And drink the Milk of Paradiseeeee
