VERY excited !!!! we are just weeks away instead of months.  Can't wait to share a cocktail and chew the fat with ya'll at a pre-show meet up once the location gets nailed down.  I don't have alot of suggestions on the meet up , I get lost once I'm east of RT 59, but I sure do know my way around a corn field  ;)

Please arrive a little early to the show and bring your confirmation email and ID to pick your tickets up.

We apologize for this inconvenience; please direct any questions to our office.

two mo' weeks! i'd like to amend my plus-2 status to plus-6 (i like to roll with an entourage that rivals aretha's in '72). when it came time to pick up the four extra tickets i needed for my friends, i had to do it second-hand, and i almost bought stubschlub seats in jow J(im)J(ames) out of principle, but kobebeef came through in the clutch. we'll be rocking in the rafters in the middle balcony.

I will be there.  The wife will be wearing the Roll Call T.  My second show in Chicago (I'm from the Detroit area).  May have a seat available - row S if anyone is interested.

Hey Chicago show attendees!

I'm meeting with a representative from Mercy Home next week about a possible additional donation from our group.  I'm hoping we can nail down some details here about where we might hold a pre-show meetup, and how many people are planning  to attend.

While I suppose it would be easiest to just pass the hat and toss in a couple extra bucks for the cause, I thought we could make it a little more interesting.  Bake sale?  Dunk tank?  Well, how about a silent auction?

If folks are interested in donating some MMJ memorabilia, or maybe have a giftcard lying around from Christmas that they haven't used, or anything of interest/value...let me know.  I'll start it off by donating this poster:

Very cool idea.  I suppose I can donate a Unstaged Poster from the Louisville show, but I'll have to see my gf gave it to one of our friends already.  I still vote for Kasey's Tavern in Printer's Row on Dearborn(couple blocks from Auditorium)  for possible meet-up, although with work, who knows what time I can get up there.

ALady

I have actually done a fundraiser there before - and it's a great bar, though for that group it was a little small.  I think it could be just the right size for the MMJ crowd - let's see what our final numbers look like!

Once we hammer out the details, I'll make a Facebook event page.  Invite your friends!

And the Unstaged poster would be AWESOME - hope that works out!

Great idea Mags!. I've got that poster and remember that show vividly.  I had very good company.

I'm in for a pass the hat or whatever :)

mahg33ta

I will donate a poster.   ALady why don't you PM me where to mail it? (as I won't be able to make this  :'( )

Taterbug

I would be able to donate some moolah, I really don't have anything MMJ I could donate, unless someone wants a Circuital water bottle that smells like Jack Daniels  :),

I could donate my Circuital Flag.

ALady

Thanks all, for your generosity!  This is really cool.  We've got a great group of folks here

Do you guys think we've got a market for this stuff?  I know I'd pony up for a Circuital flag (or the water bottle, especially if the Jack comes with it  ;)).  Or are we just going to end up swapping stuff?   ;D

I now have to travel from Chicago to the suburbs and pick up a friend at 5pm, so with rush hour traffic I'm not sure what time I'll be able to get there......although I am definitely going to try!

ALady... I can't make it to the show anymore, but I can send a poster or something - just let me know an address. Also, I'll pay you a donation for that waterfront poster  8)

(I also may have 2 extra tickets, if you have any friends you just want to give to friends or something... I can't get rid of these things for shit!)
don't rock bottom, just listen just slow down...

ALady

Awesome, thanks for donating!  Let me know your highest bid on the Waterfront poster, and we'll add it to the silent auction!    ;)

Where are your tickets?  I can post them on another Chicago-based board, if you like.  Hopefully someone will buy them.

Is there a consensus yet on a meeting place ?  Can I help out with anything ?
I'm good at taking orders and terrible at executive decisions
