I was thumbing thru the latest issue of Rolling Stone today and came across a small article written by Jim in praise of one of his musical heroes Aretha Franklin.  Some very nice words about the Queen of Soul.  I love his line "her voice is just a sword, a liquid lightning sword"  The man does have fucking great taste in music!! ;) ;)

check it out. amazing album.

one side all covers. one side her stuff.

get it on vinyl.

nice recommendation! i picked that puppy up a couple years back at a grrrrrreat record store in dc (red onion). brother ray guests!
