Haha, you're right!!! USPS Saturday and Monday are the same to me for deliveries at work (see the correction above).

It's on the second spin of the evening already...

Curious: do you still need this one?

danz

I need the black version.  Which shouldn't be too hard to find but for some reason I just haven't come across it yet...

danz, did you play th At Dawn I traded you?

you know, I don't think I have, YET!  It went straight onto the shelf, but don't worry, it's a very warm and friendly shelf full of kindred spirits  :)

Y'know, I have Acoustic Citsuoca in black and red vinyl.  The completist in me wants the blue, too, but then I think... I could buy a couple of drinks at Forecastle instead.

My Morning Jacket -At Dawn 2xLP (Darla) Re-press. Exclusive: The Universe. Release date: 5/22.
My Morning Jacket -The Tennessee Fire 2xLP (Darla) Re-press. Exclusive: The Universe. Release date: 5/22.

Great news, another two albums i gotta have. I still don't own tennessee fire on vinyl. So it's good timing.

I need some opinions. Due some financial obligations I can only get one (maybe two) records for the time being. I'm probably leaning towards (in this order) At Dawn, Chocolate and Ice, Acoustic Citsuoca, or Tennessee Fire. Any one of these four a definite better choice than the other three as far as quality, value, etc?

You must start with "At Dawn" it's a must to listen to on vinyl. Then go with Tennessee Fire, then Acoustic Citsuoca and finally Choc&Ice.

Though I might swap AC and TTF.

I came across this site, comparevinyl(dot)com.  Maybe it has been referenced before, but in case not, here is the link.  http://www.comparevinyl.com/artists/my-morning-jacket#38712r

Based on what I've seen here, it is not complete, but does give an idea about where certain albums can be purchased.  Still waiting to find Okonokos for $40, but will continue to look!!  Should I be kicking myself that I found a copy of AC @ Manifest in Charlotte for $10 and passed?

Im The Dude

Thanks for the link. I think I paid $50 for my copy of Okonokos on ebay back in 2008 or 2009. It's a must to own! Good luck finding it, ebay has one or two at times but they are way over priced....but if you really want it go for it.

This is a question for any MMJ collectors on here: What was the most recent MMJ vinyl that you bought? Mine was the Month of Sundays "School's Out" 7 inch.

Well At Dawn has now been purchased! Next question: how rare is it to find the other three?Apparently Acoustic Citsuoca is going to be hard to find pretty soon since they're almost gone. But what about Chocolate and Ice and Tennessee Fire?

The completist wins, again.

Just arrived in all its blue glory.  Even for colored vinyl, sounds great.  You can really taste the reverb.

There's still time for you!

I was at Manifest in Charlotte a couple of weeks ago. They had it for @ $10.  It had the cd with it.  Not sure what version that is, but it could be worth a shot.

for what it's worth i tried ordering the black one off of amazon, but wound up getting the blue one.  not that it's a big deal since i didn't have any pressing of this, but figured i'd throw that out there for everybody else.
some get stoned, some get strange, sooner or later it all gets real.
