If this helps at all, I am pretty sure that they discs are Red and Orange.

If you go to Discogs, you can find 4 copies of At Dawn vinyl for sale, from $36 to $75.

Here's the My Morning Jacket page for all releases:

Does anyone keep up with how the MMJ records are mastered?  I understand that some albums are mastered differently for digital vs. vinyl.  I'm new this year to vinyl but in addition to the MMJ albums I have Jim's Regions as well as Wilco's the Whole Love.  These two albums sound amazing when listening on vinyl with my headphones.  I don't get that same detailed sound when listening to the other MMJ studio albums.

Well, I decided to go for a copy of MMJ Does Gold Hole 7" and remained highest bidder with only a few hours left.  I just got a break from teaching and discovered I lost to a high bid of $133.50!  Damn.

And no one touched the MMJ Does Bad Jazz 7" that was up from the same seller w/a starting bid of $60.  I was surprised.

I'm still somewhat baffled at the market value of these two 7" discs.  Does Gold Hole is about the same value as a used set of Okonokos 4xLP.  Zoinks!

I just received a new copy of TTF vinyl and it was blue/green vinyl. I also have  an unopened copy of At Dawn vinyl. Are there any external markings to indicate if these are colored or black vinyl. My TTF copy only had the bar code, but didn't see anything to indicate it was colored vinyl. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least!!!

So I just bought a record player.  I really want Okonokos, any good ideas on how I can get my hands on it?  At Dawn seems oddly rare as well compared to the other LPs.

EDIT:

I see Okonokos on Ebay for $61 bid.  That is cheap for that album, but I'll have to save for it.  I'll grab It Still Moves instead.

Just ordered run thru 7".  I was unaware there was a song on there I've never heard, breathin', so looking forward to this one.

Also, noticed an error on the main list.  Celebracion is under the 12" category and it is actually a 10", at least mine is.

If anyone is still interested in the NYE pic disc there are two on ebay with buy now pricing.

Thanks, Mike.  I'd been following those and bid on an unsigned disc but was outbid at $60.  It then came back as BuyItNow for $60, so I pulled the trigger.  Maybe I'll get it signed later.  I'm not a fan of autographed vinyl, at least not on the actual album, so its all good.

Yeah that's the problem with signed vinyl, never want to play it which is why my one of these is framed on the wall.

You're going to want to track down an original, numbered pressing of It Still Moves. The repress that comes with the CD is a complete abomination in comparison. I think that the ISM original stands alone in the "jaw-droppingly amazing sounding" category of MMJ records. Well, studio records at least. Okonokos is one of the best-sounding records I have PERIOD. I also think Z, EU and the 45rpm pressing of Circuital sound pretty damn good when cranked and sound far more detailed than their digital counterparts. I don't notice any improvement when listening to the vinyl versions of TTF or AD -- understandable given the sources.

Glad to see this, as I won an ISM original pressing, unplayed and numbered, on eBay today, just after snagging the NYE pic disc.

You're in for a huge treat! Toss on some headphones, CRANK IT and prepare to hear the record like you've never heard it before!

That ISM repress was done so poorly it actually angers me. Such an awesome record deserves better. Music should come out of the speakers with PUNCH and that repress is just the flattest sounding piece of garbage I've ever heard. On top of that, there is a digital 1-second gap of silence in between tracks. Absolutely unacceptable!

I have all the LP's now and it is really just ISM that is not good.  It's the newer ATO release.  Was the 2003 original that is so good done by Badman?  If so, is 60 a good price for that new?
