Hi all,

alright, this is my first post and it just couldn't be any more serious or dramatic:

Hooray new album, yippie new tour, but: dang ! No german dates !
:(
Since MMJ canceled their last dates in germany two years ago I was so hoping they would come back some time soon.

So if anyone with "the power" or "the knowledge" reads this:
please don't let this be final and add some german dates !
Germany is not far from the UK at all, so pleeeeaase ! I'd bring all family and friends, I promise.

Cheers y' all,
Karsten

p.s.: please not that I didn't write "you owe us after the cancellation last time" !
Or did I ?

German dates????
What about the rest of the UK - two concerts one at latitude (which will be 1 hour at most) and one guess where???? yep LONDON

There is a 15 day gap between London and back to US in St Louis so something MUST BE PLANNED?????

Please

I'm just gonna throw this out there, because you all obviously know more about europe than i... isn't traveling in europe extremely cheap and easy? Like traveling to London for a show?

also I hear that there is some sort of confirmation that Australia is getting toured soon so I would bet there will be a world tour.
don't rock bottom, just listen just slow down...

CHEAP...EASY????  UK 60 million people crammed into the the size of New England - London with 10 million people and with the M25 the biggest car park in Europe (you will all find out come the Olympics in 2012) gas at $4 a uk gallon and a train system that costs the earth, it is not that easy my friend
Living in the North of the country and getting hold of tickets in the first place is also a non starter
All i was saying is that if MMJ are in the UK then 2 shows with a 15 day gap before heading back to St Louis leaves dates and room for more shows, one would imagine????

Ha, forgive me then. I was under the impression that going from London to Paris, for example, was just a short, inexpensive train ride away. I have a lot of family in the UK but haven't made it much further than Birmingham and London over there.

no it's not cheap or convenient...if you're talking just UK, then you can get a rail pass but accommodations are more scarce and things are pricier/same with London-Paris..there are ways to do it but the cheaper ways (London- dover-calais-paris) takes a long long time. you can get a euro-rail pass which makes things a bit easier once you're in Paris, but if you're looking to do MMJ Europe, not easy, convenient, or cheap...just my .02
but come on...there's nothing sexy about poop. Nothing.  -bbill

German dates coming soon.....David Hasselhoff will be opening.

Man, I would gladly buy ol' Hasselblad a keg of Jaegermeister if that would make MMJ play somewhere around Hamburg !

It depends, really, e_wind;  it can cost less to fly from London to Spain or France than it does to take a train journey within the UK.

For instance, I work in the north of the UK and have meetings in London once or twice a month.  I travel down by train (admittedly first class), and it costs about US$600 return.  Standard class at peak time would still be over US$300.

However, I fly to and from the UK to Spain every weekend and return flights vary between US$70 and US$225 dependent on the time of year etc.

That being said, I got tickets to the two UK dates without trouble (Somerset House tickets are still on sale, and cost around US$40), you could get a cheap (for London) hotel nearby for under US$100 so sorting it out is not insurmountable...
The trouble with the straight and the narrow is it's so thin, I keep sliding off to the side
