Oh My!! New and old..everything fit together perfectly.  I was in disbelief that they kept going and going! On my way out of the Palace I felt compelled to pay more money for the most unbelievable show of my life!!!  The fact that anyone across the globe could join in and now archived forever makes it's so special. Can't wait to watch the playback in HD  :D

its still going to be 93 and the palace is usually a little warm to begin with.

Talk about an understatement!! Was sweating my ass off during this show.  Was a hell of a good show!
And all that ever mattered will some day turn back to batter, like a joke.

Gawd what a show!  Plenty of people (including the band, I think) have commented that the new material was almost meant to be consumed in a live setting...boy were they right.

I hope they can keep that energy level up all summer.  I got tired just watching the streaming event!

I envy you guys that were sweating there!
...words only got in the way

awesome show... i can't say much more, just awesome! I sweat through everything, my tie was wet!

I kept seeing that damn reds hat in the middle of the floor!    ;D

(You're beard is really coming in nicely.)
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

I was on my front porch sweating through the entire thing and when Jim said: "it's pretty hot huh?", we all just nodded in headphone unison.

mmj blew my brain to bits on 6-17-11,8-22-12, 6-11-15, 5-28-16, 5-29-16

Just can't believe they played the entire new CD.  Each song was played perfectly too that was new.  Holdin' on to Black Metal then Highly Suspicious was epic.  I am sure not as many people loved it like I did but I really loved the raw clarity of Movin' Away.  Jim nailed it.  What a damn good show.  Tyrone was awesome.

Was there a print for the show?
They handed out a free print to everyone. It was a nice surprise ending to the night.

Running Oz

Even the Wall Street Journal sent a reviewer down from big ol' New York City to little bitty Louisville to see the show:  http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052702303657404576358661158579374.html?mod=googlenews_wsj

Concerning the heat inside the Palace last night, and it was dripping hot in there, I would think the band felt the crowd was reliving the early recording sessions for Circuital with them based on their comments of how hot is was that gym when they were all setup around each other.   The new tunes all came across great, Slow Slow Tune will be an absolute burner live by mid Summer and Off the Record and Steam Engine were epic.
Is there a Doctor in the house tonight?

My Morning Jacket - Steam Engine Unstaged

this poster is responsible for HOTBM vid also, hopefully this is a sign that the whole thing is coming.

Notice the dancing hobo clip in HOTBM surely thats staged film footage?  Good sign of a dvd coming maybe.
Y'all got any disco ball back there?

el_chode

First Light, Freak Out, and HOTMB are ripe for expansion. I hope that is a prophecy. Oh, and Slow Slow Tune.

My only issue aside from the streaming for the first 1/3 of the show as that HOTBM is in need of something else. I can't put my finger on it. But whatever is missing, once added, will make it explode.
