They do a pretty amazing acoustic Dondante with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band in the film Louisiana Fairytale. Quite possibly the highlight of the movie for me. Very interested to see if this arrangement is similar.

Oh man, getting sick on lobster in MAINE???  That's like going to Hawaii and getting sick on pineapples or coconuts.  Rotten luck, but glad he's OK!!  Food poisoning can be HORRIBLE!!!

This sounds to me more like an allergic reaction than food poisoning.  Shellfish is a pretty common allergy.  And judging my his "my body decided not to like lobster anymore..." sounds pretty standard.  Allergic reactions are pretty damn scary and they can develop out of nowhere (he's probably eaten lobster before and been fine).  I think allergic reactions good worse each time so I doubt he can ever eat shellfish again (the horror!).

disclaimer- I am not a doctor but I did stay at Holiday Inn Express last night.   Plus the exact thing happen to wife last year from penicillin.

i had forgotten all about this!!  thanks for the reminder.  definitely agree, though.  highlight of the film.
