I mentioned this in another thread but thought I'd bring it up in here too...

I'm bringing my 15 year old to this show.  It will be his first concert and I'm more anxious to watch him get his face melted than I am to see the show myself.  So stoked!

i finally believe you are NOT Duke Silver...

Well, glad to have put that to bed.

Don't forget Conan tomorrow night everybody!!

There's a biergarten here:
http://www.rathskeller.com/

Also a brewery or two downtown.

PS: GA Tickets are 4 for $140 on Livenation.com
It looks like the show is General Admission from what I can tell, but they do have events that are reserved as well. I may join ya all if Im in town that weekend. I'll be seeing them in Boston the following Sunday as well.

Thanks for the heads up on the Beer Garden and brewery's!

I this a seated show with a GA on the side or is GA for the most part?  I'm thinking of making the trip but don't want to have bad seats.

rmpotsy

im pretty sure its all GA.  its a great venue, right in the heart of downtown indy.  outdoors, in the grass, and they even give you free chairs if you want.

That sounds like a good time.  I'm going to try and swing this.  Thanks for the info.

anyone know where we'll be able to pick up our rollcall/will call tickets? the venue info on livenation says the box office is the Old National Centre but it doesn't list hours for Sunday and the will call section mentions that we can pick up will call tickets generally 90 minutes before the show but doesn't say where. this will be the first time I've been to The Lawn at White River, heard a lot of good things though. thanks for the help!

White River is great. Just caught they Black Keys(who weren't) there. If there's no stage backdrop, then that'll be the sunset.

Seriously considering getting a 4 pack for this show.

why the hell is this on page 3?

WHITE RIVER TO THE TOP!!!

in all honesty, i am thinking since they are the two closest to hometown shows on this tour, white river and cinci are going to be bangers.  if you have the means, i would not miss either show.

anybody know about the parking situation at white river. I'm a poor college student thinking about driving the 2 hours over to this show Sunday, but if its gonna be another 20 for parking I don't think I can swing it.

Wife and I were discussing this when we ordered tickets a couple days ago and you could add a parking pass for $5. It seems like it was $10 at the Black Keys show a couple months ago.

I went to a show there last summer and I dont remember parking right on the grounds being overly outrageous. I think maybe in the $5-10 range.

Real real excited about this one. Not sure if anyone in this thread is from the "old" days on the board, but I used to be extremely active on here in 05-early 07. I kept track of the setlists before the Archive came about, and I did statistics for all of the tours. That said, this will be my first show since Columbus 08, so I'm looking forward to getting back in the saddle.

My buddy just won 2 tix yesterday from 92.3 Bloomington radio station that includes some kind of pre-show party. Hopefully the seats will be better than the GA ones we bought but who knows. Any info on where Will Call is would be great. SO STOKED!!!!
Anyone wanna take a stab at what the opening song will be? Im gonna guess Victory Dance.

I think everything there is GA.

It seems like Will Call is on the east side, if my directional senses were working when I was there. Right by one of the entrances.

bunk_moreland

I called the venue yesterday and was told that will call is inside the visitor's center at the main entrance and opens at 5.  Gates open at 6.
