From Pat's twitter:

"Hello, Tuscaloosa! Just arrived and saw "the path.". Stomach dropped. If you haven't, buy tix to our benefit show and help this community!"

Such a great dude he is...

great guy, it really is a stomach dropping view... as all of you will see tomorrow.

Just gotta get through one more day of work

My sister who lives here is showing me the path right now... She's telling me about how thick the trees used to be, and now you can see houses she didn't know existed. Devastating
don't rock bottom, just listen just slow down...

so i take it the choice spot to pre-game would be Wilhagen's.. think i might be rolling in to that parking garage nearby the venue around 4:30 and would love to catch a quick bite to eat and a couple brews with you'unz

are we honestly going to get a nearly normal set length with neko and phossy playing too??? If so, this is going to be one long ass night of mind explosions...

I think/hope people are going to be blown away by Phosphorescent.

Phosphorescent - Los Angeles (Live from Bonnaroo 2011)

Nice!  I was just playing that album this morning on the way to work in honor of tomorrow nights show, and I swear I said to myself, "Self, how awesome would Los Angeles be live?"    Thanks for posting!  That made my day!

Glad you enjoyed it!! That was really a great show with a great vibe, and it kinda peaked at the end with LA....wish you could make it down South for this one- hopefully Phossy will cross your path soon, BH!

P.S. Sorry if this is redundant and everyone checks twitter, but looks like the boys stopped in at Dreamland BBQ for some southern goodness! Awesome...

I feel so unproductive today. I am ready to rock.

BTW: If anyone wants to say hi, I'll be out with my radio station in front of the amp entrance around 6 or so. It's the station that starts with a B.  ;)

TIX PURCHASED  8)
I'm glad that I could convince you. ;D

Did you go with the 203 Row A's?
Yup.  Seats 21-22.

Sweet. I think I sat right next to you with my wife and 6 year old daughter.  I pointed out the train running behind the stage during steam engine!!!

Great show and here in my hometown, finally, after years of hardcore roadie bus travels and taxis and horse carriages - finally 15 minutes from the house instead of taking days off work and whatnot.

neck hurts. back hurts. everything hurts hurts.

distortion into steam engine took on a by my car kind of jam very shortly, the transition into movin away sounded incredible, and the whole band sounded so tight last night. The other two openers definitely cut into the set, but hey it's all for a good cause!

I haven't seen a show since Bonnaroo, and the new tunes sounded worlds better. Oh and stop draggin with Carl soloing on top of it really was a treat. They also slowed down Black Metal and First Light and really soaked them in.

The whole rail was having a great time, and Jim especially showed a lot of love back to the audience. I've never seen him smile so much. A great crew and a great time!!! Now coffee, and then to the Alpharetta
