It shouldn't.  Its USA Today.  Also, not having read any articles, I wonder if the headline was based on anyone being at either show.  I'm sure, to Eminem fans and the general public, he stole the night.  Thing is, they don't know what they missed in the northeast corner of Grant Park.  That's what's sad.
The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

I guess I have to agree with the writer, now I see why he ruled...... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
"Some of Eminem's banter with hype man Mr. Porter was hackneyed, and the promotion of Eminem's latest albums unnecessary. But beyond that, this show was exactly what you wanted from a Lollapalooza headlining performance. It was special."

JohnnYYac, you missed out on some lyrical magic , My name is, My name is , My Name is...........Slim Shady,,,,,,,,,deep, kinda makes Jim's lyrics seem kinda.......silly.....

I don't understand this discussion at all.  Why does it matter?  Eminem is a talented, extremely successful artist that doesn't need to be compared to MMJ.  He does something completely different and he sells out arenas whenever the heck he feels like it.  That's the people's winner.  Done and done.  Unlike MMJ's rather homogeneous fanbase (college educated and white), Eminem has had mass appeal across race, gender and socioeconomic class for much of his career.

here's one white guy (partial college edumacation) who simply has no use for anyone who cannot compose an original melody, play an instrument or carry a tune.

sampling the songs of others and rhyming over a beat has little or nothing to do with making music, IMHO, and it makes me sad that there are so many young people these days who will throw good money at any bad poet with an attitude.

/end of old guy rant.

Em can spit it, dude.  I've always wanted to say that.  Now, I'm sure I'd feel out of place at one of his concerts, but when I'm in my car.... sheeeeeeiiiiit.

Exactly!  If the headline were to say "My Morning Jacket Rule Night 2" most people would be like...who the fuck is My Morning Jacket.  Sorry guys...Em is the fucking MAN.
