I wasn't there but I can't imagine them ever busting out a full Cobra outside of T5.  Perhaps very similar to the version they were playing throughout the EU tour?

Sorry folks, I just copied and pasted from notes.  No pat = no pat drum solo at the end of steam. 

And yes, the girl with the beautiful voice is neko's + 1.

This was my first Steam Engine so I was paying particular attention and if I'm not mistaken, Patrick attempted to start his solo about two or three times but Jim and Carl were just jamming too hard they kept jamming over top it... Maybe I'm wrong, anyone agree?

i saw a taper with a serious rig

There was definitely a guy with a great setup there, back of pit, center. He had a 15-20 foot high mic stand however when they went into Cobra I thought of him again and turned around and he wasn't there, or at least the mic stand wasn't. So maybe he got a better setup with the sound board or else (I fear) he was asked to move/take it down.

Looking forward to hearing his tape hopefully.

damn, he was right in front of me but i never realized that he went missing before the show ended.  i was so looking forward to his recording, now i'm seriously bummed to hear that he may have missed the encore.

they went into this funky little jam between songs (cobra and draggin), before they brought out neko case and her 2 bandmates.  lasted about a minute and a half.

yea if you go to that neko and mmj video you can hear it. it's the end  jam in the actual studio cobra.

Oddly none of the archive links posted on the board recently that I've clicked on have worked.  I too had to search for the Merriweather show though the taper had posted the link.

Getting hyperlinks to LMA to work is tricky.  I have best luck right-clicking over the embedded stream player, then capturing the URL in Properties, etc...
