Celebration (the band, not the song)

Anyone familiar with the band Celebration out of Baltimore?  Really good band along the lines of Beach House but not as melancholy in my opinion... You may have heard Katrina Ford sing back up on TVOTR's "Wolf Like Me"... For me it's the percussion driven songs and Katrina's strong voice that captures my ear.  Their last album is available for free at celebrationelectrictarot.com if you want to take a peak.

If anyone is in the neighborhood they are playing the Ottobar in Bmore on March 29th... I'm hoping to make it...

Yes, I am a fan.  Katrina Ford's voice is remarkable.  She was also on Maximum Balloon's debut album.  I've never seen them before live, but hope to one day.

Not sure if you saw this download... it's of a stripped down show in Bmore... this venue records all the shows and this one is very good.  Much different from when I've seen them play.
