Just to let everyone know, there is a good chance that I'll have two extra roll call GAs for sale. Looks like it's just me and Caroline (those of you at red rocks met her) coming and not her sisters anymore
don't rock bottom, just listen just slow down...

I have 4 tix in section 226, row D.

I'm looking to upgrade (NO GA'S).  I can trade you my seats & a Burwell MSG NYE for your tickets.

Poster will be free!

I'd love to take them off your hands! But I'm sure there are many others that would, as well. I only got section 104 for myself. Gave my 2 GAs to a friend who's never seen them before.

And to sweeten the pot, I could throw in a It Still Moves T5 poster, if you're interested.

here's a question:  was anyone able to get West GAs at any point besides roll call?

edit:  it looks like there are West GAs on all sorts of ticket sites now for about $130.  i'm wondering if they will go up or down from there..

I just got a slew of messages! I haven't answered any yet guys, don't worry, I need some time to make 100% sure these dummys bail.

Anyways: Taking the advice of a buddy from here I've decided the best way for a nice hotel and good price for a 3 night stay in NYC is to stay in Jersey. Originally, I was gonna stay in the Meadowlands Sheraton, but to try and save a little $$ we're looking into the Radisson in Carteret.
questions about this: if you take a shuttle from the hotel to the train station then to the city, on the way back to you take the subway back to NJ then a cab? Also, is Carteret on the NJ Turnpike much further than the meadowlands? Its about 30$ cheaper a night and if the only difference is a little distance that I wanna book it.

edit: I just looked on a map, looks like if you're trying to get to Manhattan it is quite a difference. Is Manhattan where all the tourist shit is in NYC? I've never been, obviously....

Hey guys,

If anyone has one extra for GA West that is looking to get rid of it for face value please let me know. I was able to get two tix for the Roll Call presale but a friend of mine tried getting a GA ticket but it sold out too fast for him. He's only seen the band once at Mountain Jam and is dying to catch this show. You can send me a PM or e-mail me at swalmmd@yahoo.com.

Thanks!

I am fishing for west GAs in 2 minutes !!

just reporting back- like others on here, had no luck pulling West GA.  Was offered east GA, then section 300s seats, then floor seated in the back section 1.

somebody managed to get a really good recording of the MSG NYE show... so I wouldn't image it's very difficult.

Talk to ewind, as he said earlier he might have 2 Roll Call GAs.
The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

Have 2 East GA's.  Looking to trade + cash for 2 West GA's.  Let me know, thanks!

e_wind

thanks to the always quick responses from roll call admin, I now know that I have two extras. Im holding on hope that two of my friends will just end up coming with us, but I'd say the chances of that are 0.000001%.

Whoever I let em go to, they'll have to be able to meet at the box office before the doors. I plan on lining up at 3ish with some others that I've been talking to from this here forum. Face value is 129$.

At this point if the plan sounds okay to you, you can PM me and I guess first response gets em.

Would have loved to make this show but flying stand-by to NYC right before the Holidays is just too much trouble :P.  Hope you all have a great time there .

Glad they decided to play in a small place near by in Boca.
Only 3000 people + it should be a beautiful evening outside  :D.
My Perfect Day = Snowboarding on a powder day in the trees & listening to my favorite music.

Manhattan is the Heart of the city so to speak, it is basically NYC but there are 5 boroughs in total that make up NYC.  Manhattan is where most of the main tourist things are and almost everything goes on- example Radio City Music Hall, Boardway shows, Museums, and MSG!!!  It is the heart of the city to answer your question e_wind.  I can say this is your first time going to NYC by that line, no offense though Eric.  Look forward to meeting quite a few of you folks there!!!

I would highly recommend NOT staying in New Jersey at all. If you are looking for something a little cheaper, stay in Long Island City, Queens, NY. There are nice, newish hotels there for $115 - $130 per night and it's only a 20 minute subway ride to MSG. No commuter trains, no hassle.

Northern Jersey is just  a disgusting, smelly swamp. I know, I work there. Every soul-sucking day. The NJ Transit train (which you would take to Manhattan) is expensive and always running late. All that is there is a bunch of warehouses and tractor-trailers.

Hey Joe I was wondering if you'd be making it to NYC!  I agree with you the Boca show will be sweet outside in Dec.  Any other year I'd be trying to get there as my brother has a house nearby.. but unfortunately  I'm skipping all these shows cuz I'll be a little busy - my wife & I have a baby due in Nov!  Have a great show
