We met some of the gang in Philly last year (2010).  I cannot remember who, though.  I thought I met you, though, Penny.

Nope. I made it to Philly in 2008 and 2011, was not there last year! Looking forward to it.
but come on...there's nothing sexy about poop. Nothing.  -bbill

within a span of a few days, all my plans came together.   I was already on the list, but just confirmed travel, hotel, and tix (ga west).   See y'all in a month!

glad you locked that up!  ;) :) See you Friday!

Well done.  Was there ever any doubt?  Look forward to seeing you in NYC.  Have fun Friday night w/Penny and Wolof.  I'll be jammin' in Portland, a DBT virgin with some JLM foreplay.
The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

Northern Neighbour

I remember meeting TD and YNWA.  I thought I met Penny, but I will next month!

Looking forward to joining the gang in four weeks.

Ruckus

Starting to look forward to this show.  I'm kinda wondering if they'll go big as far as length of set or keep it somewhat standard.  I'm sure they'll be some gems but is 3 hours too much to ask for?

Like others, very excited for this show.

Since this is the last show of the year for MMJ and the last show of the year for any of us, what is the single one thing they could do to just put the perfect cap on your year of MMJ?

My choice would be a really nice Steam Engine.  Not a rare choice or anything, but I've missed the last couple of shows, and more than any other MMJ song it is the one that gets at the heart of what I love about them and what touches me so deeply.
My heart can't wait to meet you on the other side.

I would love to hear as much of Xmas Curtain as possible...but I don't fucking care...it's MMJ @ MSG...it gets no better than that!

There wasn't much doubt, but until I confirmed my work schedule you never know... but nothing short of catastrophe is standing in my way now... bummer about a 9 am Thurs work meeting but that's a small price to pay...

glad to see you're coming for sure mag33ta!... altho section 106 will miss you haha
and I will miss you!  but my group is either 2 or 3, to be decided close to showtime, so much easier to go GA then try to find a 3rd ticket near the two I have in 106.

I would agree, but since we're making a wishlist, I think we can dream bigger than that.  I'd like At Dawn, PWW, and Steam Engine.   All 3 are being played with some regularity so I don't think that's TOO much to ask for?

I personally think this show will be YUM center-esque. Yum center wasn't really a special occasion, but they still played a long as set, had the balloons and what not, played Evelyn. I mean it's their last show of the year (like YUM) and it in an arena (like YUM) and they happened to get the biggest opener of the year, probably because it's MSG. I think it'll be a special time. The last time replayed NYC they sold out all 5 of their albums, so they know people are ready for whatever.

Oh, and my wish list is  Xmas Curtain, It Makes No Difference, Twilight, And Rolling Back.

THAT'S NOT TOO MUCH TO ASK, RIGHT??
don't rock bottom, just listen just slow down...

Santa hats?  Are we all practicing Christians?

I'm not sure if Santa hats count as a nod to the religious nature of the holidays or the commercial aspect.  Sorry, don't mean to be Grinch-y about this.  Just thinking out loud.

Will we hear from the band as to a theme or request to dress up, as they did for YUM?

Hmmm.    :-\

The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

Hmmm.    :-

I’m far from a practicing Christian…more of a fake Christian…I’m agnostic, but celebrate all of the Christian holidays because they’re fun and full of happiness. I believe in Santa more than I do a Christian God.

I was just trying to think of something easy, cheap and fun for us all to do. So if this idea bothers anyone, maybe we can do Hawaiian shirts or something. I think we need some direction from the band…
