That might be true for a venue like MSG, but I'd bet the venues in Louisville are in considerably less demand.

Still holding out hope!   ;)

Well MSG is now out. Phish has announced they are playing there. I really need MMJ to announce if they are playing NYE soon. Otherwise I need to make other plans.

Leave Dec 29 open. Won't be full on MMJ but should please all. Stay tuned.

Sounds like a plan. The only other option I have then is entertaining my inlaws. I know which I would rather choose.

Seriously, does MMJ plan around weekends ever, haha. If this happens I have couches and good times welcome to all for NYE weekend.

Not sure what this is but I'm SOOOOO going.
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

I had a goofy but awesome dream about this last night. I dreamt that the Z-Bar here in Louisville (tiny bar where Carl played his last Louisville show, also my favorite place to go on weekends) was holding a series of concerts for NYE. It was the 29th, 30th, and 31st with MMJ closing it out on NYE. Everyday there were several bands playing. I can't remember all the acts, but I know Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, Delta Spirit, and Felice Brothers were all involved. I remember freaking out over how cool it was and getting mad cause no one else thought it was awesome. And then Feeling scared that I wouldn't get tickets... The bar holds 200 people maximum I'd say. I woke up at like 3 in the morning and was so excited, then woke up again when my alarm went off realizing it was a dream.

Personally I think they should play a mid to late January L-ville show to boost our post holiday blues...that and I'm out of the country for the new year.
