My Mom lost her mom unexpectedly when she was 17, she was left to raise her younger brothers and sister and take care of her Italian father. She met my Dad and had the ten of us, which I am the youngest.

Last Thursday my Mom died unexpectedly. My Mom always cried when I came home and when I left, she volunteered all over my home town, loved dancing and music (big band) and always noticed the little things that are so important in being present. She never stop doing and living. You would have been surprised that she was 81 from her actions and her spirit. She was incredibly giving and my best example of what a human can be. I hope you all have or have had someone as special in your life!

Thank you all for keeping me and my family in yours thoughts here on the forum, those who have sent flowers, texted, facebooked, called, listened and distracted me. Christine, thank you for starting this thread.
