Floating action is a local band in my city. I love seeing them play, although the front man is kind of weird-- sometimes a little rude. The last show I saw him at, he just walked off the stage at the end of what was his last song for the night  . It was very unsettling. But, the band makes great music and I really enjoy the lyrics to his songs. Jim came here last month, He had Seth on stage with him. I thought that was pretty cool.

Floating Action vinyl is appreciating in value pretty well.  Nothing crazy, but up nearly 100%, from $25-30 to $50-60 (check Discogs).  I lived in ASheville for awhile so was cool that they were the "hometown" band.  Love how Jim gives Seth props so often.  The guy is pretty prolific!
