Oh man, Hop Farm... never again. Saw MMJ w/ Neil Young back in 2008 I think it was... show was great but getting out of the place was a joke. Never again. I just hope they come up with some indoor UK dates.

Buying lottery tickets as we speak. If I win the megamillions game this week, I'll take all of you. (A girl's gotta have a dream.)

Well... we left before Neil's encore, and promptly got stuck in the car park for something like 3 hours. It looked like there was only one exit in operation, at least that I could see, and it was tiny - opening out on to a pitch black country lane with no signs. So, we then promptly got lost  ;D

There were no staff in the car park at that time that I could see, and it was pretty scary trying to get the car over some narrow wooden planks across ditches to even get close to the exit. Luckily it remained good natured. I think we got home around 3:30am in the end, only live 60 miles away by road  :-\

This was the first Hop Farm festival, and it was 4 years ago, so maybe things are better now. I remember afterwards their website had a forum on it where loads of people were complaining about the car park situation, so much so that the forum got taken down in the end. It was cold and wet too, Neil Young actually put his coat back on onstage at one point!

Edit: According to this page: http://www.safeconcerts.com/reviews/hop-farm/2011/ the car praking situation is still bad, but overall the event is regarded highly:

There is only one complaint about the whole event, the traffic. For some obscure reason the most impressive mis-management of the car park resulted in chaos, anarchy and frustration on each and every night. Please don't use this company again. That's the only grumble from the whole festival and whilst it was unacceptable on every level I don't want it to be a focus for this exceptional event.
