Not Jacket related, but cool for poster peeps. (Ames vs Pearl Jam)

My lady just randomly got me the Ames Bros vs Pearl Jam coffee table type book. It's super awesome. Hundreds of posters from Ames Bros up to 2007 with information on each one. Even cooler is quotes from the band and poster makers about each poster, the show the poster came from, the city in which the show was, or any other aspect involved. And, interviews with poster makers or about the process or background info. It's super damn cool.

I'm hoping in the future another band that we all like will do something like this.

Also, has Ames done any MMJ prints
don't rock bottom, just listen just slow down...

According to Expresso Beans, the only Ames Design poster for MMJ as headliner is this one:

All others were for Pearl Jam with MMJ as support.
The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

I was always tempted to buy that book but never did.  I think I will now.  One of my favorite posters is an Ames PJ with MMJ opening from Philly (Camden) 2006.  Now that I love MMJ so much I wish the "featuring My Morning Jacket" part was much bigger.

Ames fans probably know this, but that poster you show Johnny has a cool addendum.   It's a sweet poster for sure.

When MMJ toured w/ Pearl Jam in 06- Ames did the most of the posters, on one of the nights that it was another artist (Klausen- Toronto ), the poster is of a house-type structure.  If you look tacked to one of the walls, you'll see the 04 MMJ headliner poster from Ames.   Neat little self-reference/tribute.   Not sure many posters have images of other artists' posters in them....

mahg33ta.... never would have known that.  that is cool trivia to know and a cool tribute by the artist.
