I've emailed Sunset Cantina about getting a room, with catering or off the menu.  Its right across the street.  I said 30-40 people from 5 to 7 pm.  Cool?

Awesome.  If they have the ability to do that, it's a plus beer selection and no shortage of comfort food.  And certainly convenient to get over to the show.

I'm in F1 row B seats 1 and 2, if one were to make a guess, do you think our view of the band will be partially blocked?  Thinking we won't be seeing Bo possibly.  Also a bit worried about being sound blasted by the speaker stacks.  Debating trying to upgrade or not.

You might give Agganis a call 617-358-7000.  I spoke to them about the seating plan a while back and they were helpful.  I would be more worried about the sound mix then the view, but Row B is pretty sweet.  I had the side-most seat in the first row on Carl's side in Philly, and while it was way over, it was more than great.

While the image of Agganis Arena below isn't EXACTLY the same as the MMJ layout, it looks similar enough and even the furthest seats to the each side look like they'd be pretty awesome -- especially if you're in the second row!

thanks for the input. I think we should be good, although I'd imagine MMJ might have a few more massive speaker stacks on the sides of the stage than an orchestra performance by the Berklee School of Music!! (at least I hope so)

Any advice on switching will call tix to a different name?  My buddy has two in his name that he can't use.   Will call was the only option when we purchased..   I called agganis and they're "closed" until Monday.   Would ticketmaster be able to help?

it's so hit or miss, it's hard to give you helpful advice.   You can bring a copy of your buddy's license, or beg and plead.   But be prepared for the worst just in case.

you're at the mercy of the venue...from what i know, they're kinda dim and a little lax so bring whatever information you have and try to do it early in the day (think box office opens at noon?)
