Sorry if this is a stupid question but it's been awhile since I bought through roll call.  Why are there two buttons? What is the difference between "roll call vip" and "tickets"?  Any word on how many tickets we can buy for this show?  thanks

VIP is the soundcheck.  You can only get soundcheck tickets if you also have a ticket to the show.

Is there a specific time today that these will go on sale today for roll call?

Jane

according to the email, today at noon - "Pre-sale tickets for all, including 3 night ticket packages for Port Chester will be available
to the band's fan club Roll Call Wednesday at 12noon EDT via mymorningjacket.com"

Roll Call VIP is for the Soundcheck bundles. If they're available for the show it'll be lit up, and active. There is no show ticket available in that link. The tickets button is for the actual show ticket. If they're both lit, and you want to do both, you'll have to go through both links.

do you have to go through both links? i thought i was able to buy a soundcheck and a ticket through one link before making it only one order. i could be wrong. i hate roll call being non transferable. makes it hard to commit

I don't remember there being a seperate Roll Call ticket link inside the VIP link. After the RC presale is over, there is a link to an external ticket purchase in that VIP link, but pretty sure I had to go through the RC presale link for tix during the presale. I do know the VIP bundle does not include a show ticket, and what I meant to say by the two being seperate purchases. You're right though, you can continue shopping, and get them on the same order. I had two different soundchecks, and two different show tix for the trifecta on one order.

got a new email - "Pricing for the Port Chester shows is as follows:

Single Ticket GA and Reserved: $64.13 including processing fee

3-Day Bundle GA ONLY: $178.08 including processing fee

Boston GA Tickets are $56.82 including processing fee

There will be no soundcheck parties offered for these dates."

looks like there will be a GA for boston

Gee, I'm glad I called.  :undecided:

I noticed only one price level on the Ticketbastard site for Boston NYE, so I was kinda thinking it might be GA.  Got the same email, so I guess it removes some stress from today... and puts more stress on the afternoon of Dec. 31st.

Are you thinking the whole show is GA?  That would be really surprising!!

I really don't know.  Guess we'll find out in 33 minutes.  Good luck!

There is zero chance an entire show in an arena is going to be all GA. It would be a logistical nightmare. Maybe there are a few sections of the floor designated as Roll Call GA sections? Hoping for that anyway!

ericm

Anyone else thinking of passing on this presale now that it's ga, and waiting on TM so as to avoid will call/ no transferring of tix?

I was going in if it was a seated floor in order to get a good seat, but now that it's ga, no need to risk getting stuck with the tix in case something unforeseen comes up.

They really should either mail the RC tix, or at least let us transfer them to another Roll Caller.

Eric, I'm not taking any chances.  If something comes up where I can't go, then so be it.  Hopefully, though, that we can transfer the tickets.

Will Roll Call offer any side stage seats?  Like section 102 or 114?  I dig GA and getting up front, but the wife more than likely will not want to deal with that for a 3+ hour show.

mahg33ta

Eric, you are putting a lot of weight in that ground control email that says "GA tix"... that could easily be a cut and paste mistake.   Grount CTRL is not exactly error free based on past history.

I don't think we know what the seating chart is.   It's confusing, I'd say at least check it out at noon rather than pass.

could be all GA
could be GA floor
could have a GA Pit up front
grount ctrl could be messing things up
