gotta say i get goosebumps a lot when i listen to the jacket, but ones that stand out right now that i can think of:

--end of lay low, just when you think they're gonna wrap up the epic guitar solo, they bring it back up a notch

--"What are you waiting for!!!" - Smokin From Shootin

--"So!" beginning of the second verse of xmas curtain- -okonokos and ofcourse the beginning of steam engine

-Chills, gives me chills all the way thru

and there are many more, anyone care to share their goosebump moments?

oistheone

You named some damn good ones!

If visual moments count, I'd nominate another from Steam Engine, Okonokos version. Starting with "to anyone who wondered", the one long shot from the back of the crowd that slowly zooms in to Jim as the last verse picks up in intensity is the best damn shot I've ever seen in a concert film. Never fails to absolutely floor me.

And then, of course, Tommy's bass lines during the freakout after the last verse ALWAYS give me SERIOUS goosebumps, not to mention a huge smile on my face. He RIPS it.

I Will Sing You Songs.... the journey through the ever changing riffs, from the end of the beginning jam and into the first "AHHHH"'s, Jim making love to the mic stand, the end of the second verse where the riff blasts the song into a JJ "AHHHHH" epic ending jam... the whole song in general activates the tear ducts and is an emotional-goosebump-inducing journey.

Dondante- "YOU HAD ME WORRIED"

Steam Engine - "THE FACT THAT MY HEARTS BEATING, IS ALL THE PROOF YOU NEED"

armando

"Your skin looks good in the moonlight and, god damn, those shaky knees..."

The part in Circuital as it ramps up...

Jim screaming "OH SHIT RUN!" after the middle of Run Thru...
The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

Phone - "Tell me there's nobody else in the world,Tell me there's nobody else".
"Where's Jim going?"

I absolutely love this line. Easily my favorite line of any MMJ song.

At Forecastle, hearing the opening guitar note of "Run Thru" sent a shiver down my spine because I'd desperately wanted to hear the full version of it for a while. So now every time I hear it, I not only get to enjoy a killer song but it also brings me back to an amazing day/night.

Mrs.  HH and I have been going to the Newport Folk Festival for 20 years.

This summer, when the gates opened, Penny Lane & I along with Trish & Bob's daughter Chrissie were the designated runners and we took off to grab some prime real estate for the large group of forum peeps who were going to be in attendance.

When we get to the front of the stage to lay down our tarps and blankets, a full 90 minutes before the festival was set to start, MMJ is on the stage doing a soundcheck and they are singing "Welcome Home".

Goosebumps for sure.
was some shakin' and some record playin'

It's pretty cool that a few of you have listed Lay Low as one of your goosebump moments.

I'd have to agree with you. When they played Lay Low at my first show in 2010 there was a point in that song where I thought I was dreaming. Jim and Carl and those dueling guitars. So much power coming off that stage...definitely took me to another place.
20 times I wish you'd understand...

The coda of I Will Sing You Songs

(seems like these goosebump moments happen every time I listen to the boys )

Oh and I just listened to the second half of PWW - Red Rocks - and it got me again, powerful stuff, be careful...goosebumps can lead to tears

MattyJD

The entire second half of War Begun after "Somedaaaay!" I literally can't stop listening to the version from Red Rocks night 1. I haven't seen this song live yet so I'm really hoping to get it for NYE. I think I will lose my mind.

Phone - "Tell me there's nobody else in the world,Tell me there's nobody else".
Are these the lyrics Jim is singing during the Red Rocks Phone Went West jam?

I believe it was "There'll be a knock on your back door"

I agree with several of the above mentioned, especially IWSYS.

One I'd like to ad, The Bear "Foreveeeeeeeeeeeeer."
