- Pink Floyd - Sorrow  (Even Gilmour haters have to love this song, no?   Remember on Delicate Sound of Thunder when the light spots were on him and the camera panned closer to him as he played that killer opening riff to Sorrow and I was sooo stoned because it was the second time I ever got high.   Remember that!   Good times.)

I remember it well, although I was in a different state and year when it happened to me. Good times indeed!
Wow, me too, I was totally there! The old Mile High in Denver for me, though.

Are there really Gilmour haters out there?  For what possible reason could anyone hate Gilmour?
Yeah, I can't conceive of this "Gilmour hater" incarnation, either. What possible reason? Too awesome, maybe?

Okay, threadjack over, I'll get to the shuffle thing.

There is definitely Gilmour haters out there, but I don't get it. Musical creation aside, he's was cooler than that anxiety-ridden, paranoid square Waters

I guess I should rephrase it not as "Gilmour Hater" but "Gimour Era Floyd Hater"

From Live At Old Smith's Bar?  That is one smoking hot honky tonk country album.  Back when his son was still alive and guest/producer Brendan O'Brien on additional guitar.  Killer!

Nice for the Smokey and The Band, too.

Stormtroopin' - Nugent

Nice to see another Nuge fan. Back in the day, when musicians just played and didn't spout of their political beliefs, he was one of my conduits for teen angst. Love me some Stormtroopin'

I agree. I wore out Disc 2's Side 4 of Double Live Gonzo, and I didn't even own a copy (I wore out my best friend's double-LP). Actually, we rarely listened to the other sides. That is fucked up now that I think of it (after 30 odd years).

Tracy, I can't play this game. I don't like shuffle, and I still own the original 5-disc Sony CD player.

BTW Tracy, I hope when you hit shuffle again, some other Canuck tunes that you probably listened to back in your angst-filled youth are cued up by the likes of Max Webster, Triumph, April Wine, and Saga? If you got Trooper in there, I'll give you extra bonus points!
