I think it would be really neat to see Steam Engine acoustic sometime, but at the same time I would be torn, because Steam Engine without that beautiful guitar screaming at the end of the song is a Steam Engine without its most important part.

The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

Jim James - Steam Engine

I love it!

I feel like this would fit better with Jim's solo tour coming up when he doesn't have the band with him.

I can't listen to that acoustic version of Steam Engine too often because it's just too beautiful. But now that you've posted it, I've listened to it four times.  Damn, if it isn't an even more beautiful song this way.

Johnny beat me to it! I was going to post this most moving video of Steam Engine myself but had to trouble-shoot some Directv Internet Applications issues first. I agree with you, Fully, only I find myself listening/watching this particular version of Steam Engine all the time. It was one of the first videos of MMJ's/Jim's that I ran across after falling in love with them just over 2 years ago. I have even downloaded it and converted the song into an mp3 to listen to in the car and on my little mp3 player. It is so beautiful!
