I remember seeing and talking to a camera crew filming during the soundcheck party at Forecastle this year. Did any kind of "mini-documentary" type of video surface? Just wondering and thank you.

Do you mean the Under the Overpass set?  I don't recall seeing a camera crew, but I was kinda in my own little world during that moment...  :cheesy:

They were probably part of the crew that filmed the event for simulcast online. That's how I watched the show.
Babe, let's get one thing clear, there's much more stardust when you're near.

I, too, recall seeing a camera crew during the Overpass set. I'm guessing they could be part of the some production company that made those five-minute Forecastle compilation videos -- which were awesome by the way! But maybe they weren't, and this was filmed for the MMJ archives. Never hurts to have awesome footage like that!

Those guys 'interviewed' Kyle and myself on our way out after the overpass set. IIRC, they said they were 'with the band' but didn't really say what the footage would be used for.

Yeah that had to have been the same guys. I talked to them on the way back to the Galt after the overpass set and they said they were interviewing fans as well. Please let me know if anything surfaces! Thanks.

Here's a free simple application to download/burn this onto DVD or acquire the mp3 from the audio:

I have two different complete video recordings of the Under the Overpass soundcheck set.  One was from Kory, a long-time forum member and great photographer.  The other is from the great Robb from Michigan.

They are both excellent.  I will ask them if its cool for me to post download links to both.  Stay tuned...

I have a "Forcastle" DVD that someone sent me, but it doesn't play on my tv. No doubt it's awesome, as is the source. I have no idea what it is, and there was no descriptor included on it when it arrived, but it's labeled in a high falutin' manner (i.e., not in a Sharpie).
I will try it on my computer later when I get home & see if it works. I Had forgotten I had it!

EDIT: it's probably the same Under the Over now that I read Yac's post above.

My jacket's gonna be cut slim and checked
