Forecastle is selling $100 weekend passes at noon on Friday.  I really want to pick one up, but I am hesitant, because I have no idea what the lineup will be.  Do any of you strongly believe that MMJ will be back, or at least JJ with his new solo work?

I would say absolutely yes to Jim James solo at Forecastle.  Maybe some Monsters of Folk shocker, but think MMJ is doubtful.  Just hunches.
The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

I think I am going to buy two early 1 day passes for the two days I like the best.  Should cost around $100 according to last years pricing.  Friday seems to be heavily electronic, so I will wait and see what the lineup is before I drop $100 blindly.

JJ would be great! He'd play some MMJ stuff too I am sure.

MOF would be really cool.  Or M. Ward for that matter.

I'm just going to wait for the lineup. It would have to be special to make me want to do three days again. I might do one or two days. I'll wait and see.

im definitely buying a 3 day pass on friday, but I live about 2 miles away. I would SERIOUSLY DOUBT that MMJ will be back.
don't rock bottom, just listen just slow down...

Yeah I'm doing either a 1 or 2 day I think.  I live 2 hours north, so I am lucky, but not that lucky.

I really do think MMJ should do this festival yearly, or make their own!

If it goes anything like the Newport Folk Festival presale this morning, those tickets will be gone in a matter of seconds. Literally. I'm just glad I was able to still get NFF 3-day passes at the regular price. Many were not so lucky.

Fortunately, Forecastle has a much bigger capacity. Or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it.

They were pretty easy to get last year and we knew who was playing when we bought them.

I was only referring to the cheap presale tickets, btw. Hard to imagine Forecastle selling out.
