I agree with everything you said about the venue.   I thought it was awful- from the long concrete descent of stairs to the horrible lines for concessions to the beer cut-off (on NYE??).   

For me, it wasn't a night for deep cuts.  I got everything I could hope for and more at PC night 1.   This was good times with good friends and family.    The crowd was surprisingly into it.   My wife and my friend's wife (2 casual fans) had a great time and that's what the band was shooting for I think.

It was good to see you again, for sure !!

Venue sucked in more ways than I thought possible, but I still had a great time and left with a smile on my face after dancing the night away. And THAT is the sign of a good show, in my books! If I had a good time despite all the bullshit Agganis was throwin' at me (and everyone), that says a lot.

I completely agree with you Kyle.  And now that I can take a step back and consider the night as a whole, I can see that you're spot on.  We were a group of 10, of which 4 had never seen the band and 2 had only seen them once.  They definitely geared the show toward that type of crowd, and I can respect that.  The jacket virgins in our group were completely blown away.  They sure know how to throw a party!

...I just wish the beers (or cocktails...why no booze?) would have been flowing and that I didn't have to walk almost the entire way back to the hotel (Hilton Back Bay) after the show.  Getting a cab was freaking brutal!!

I was in the front row on Carl's side. The subwoofer or whatever was right in front of me so the bass was super heavy. I still had a good time tho

Ya, it was Sesame Street. I guess those 2 shows blurred together for me as a kid. I did not know until just now that it is the Pointer Sisters on vocals.

looking at some shows coming up at Tupelo's (English Beat, Kimock, Max Creek). lemme know if your gonna make any of these and we can get a proper car visit in. 

I've showed your video to about 100 freshman science students.  They were mostly impressed (some 14 year olds are never impressed by anything).
