It's not confirmed if it's solo or with a band but I'm assuming solo. In today's AMA on Reddit Jim James confirmed he'd be at Bonnaroo.

Love Bonnaroo and have gone many years. Can't wait for this. Hope he gets a great timeslot/stage and maybe is involved in the Superjam.

Throwing this out there based on his confirmation of writing new material with MOF. Maybe a MOF set?

Doubtful they'd play a MOF set at Roo this year but it'd be amazing.

Roo has had a few artists "curate" a stage before and select which bands would play it....sometimes making guest appearances throughout the day.

I've been saying my wish is to let Jim curate the Which stage....let him pick a few bands to play during the day, he can play a solo set at sundown (before headliners take the main stage) and then a MOF late night with guests.

But that's a dream :)

He confirmed it's with his solo band (at least):

This is going to be pretty hard to pass up! Thought my Roo days were done, but this might get me back to the farm for one last go-round. Or at least I'll say it's my final Roo trip until MMJ gets announced as the Sunday headliner in 2014. Man, Roo sure finds a way to bring you back.

I'm glad he's coming to roo, but I'm still hoping for a Ryman date on his solo tour.

Aww yeah Jim James back in my hometown! The place where my My Morning Jacket fascination was born.
Would also love a Ryman date Fully! Doesn't Bonnaroo have a clause that would prohibit that though? Also this limited fanclub only show pretty much rules out a Ryman date I would think?

Some website referenced Jim's statements on Reddit as meaning MY MORNING JACKET will be at Bonnaroo, then later in the article says its just Jim.  I hope people read the whole thing.  Sloppy "journalism".
The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

Yep, he was very clear. Just Jim and his new band.

Just realized that on 2/19 I'll get the Bonnaroo lineup AND a Jim James solo show. So pumped.

i am definitely  in if he shows up at the Ryman.  Best venue in the world, well maybe next to Red Rocks!

So excited. I'll be front row no matter what for this Superjam.

I'll be up there with you, hopefully there will be plenty of oxygen. I'm getting claustrophobic just thinking about it.

The poster/lineup page says "More TBA". Can't wait to see what other artists join in on the Superjam. Could be an epic night.

Hoping an afternoon tent set for Jim solo. Sunday would be nice.

The roo radius clause is 60 days before and after and is 300 miles around...encompasses Nashville, Louisville, Atlanta, Birmingham, and Tuscaloosa...Raleigh and Little Rock for example are still ok and just fall out of that radius

So some of us down here have known for a while that the Alabama Shakes are playing June 7 and 8 at Sloss Furnaces in Birmingham...so I knew they wouldn't be on that list...somehow they had to get some clause worked in to SHAKY KNEES because if you do that math it doesn't work out...I bet they worked out some sort of deal since it's a festival but I know that the radius clause pertains to a band's solo show

Curious to know where you got this information? I've seen people on boards talk a lot about radius clauses but then they never can provide specifics like this. Interested to see if that's the official thing or something you were told or whatever. Not saying you are wrong....it's just interesting that I finally see someone provide what the specifics of the clause are.
