The Roots frontman Black Thought is also writing a memoir. He tells Über Urban (via Nah Right) that he's been working with hip-hop writer Jeff Chang and filmmaker Maori Karmael Holmes on the book. He also tells Über Urban that he's at work on a solo album tentatively called The Talented Mr. Trotter. He describes it as a blues album, and he's tapping My Morning Jacket's Jim James, TV on the Radio's Tunde Adebimpe, and R&B singer Raheem DeVaughn for collaborations. "It's some stuff that I feel like I need to get out, aside from the new Roots record," he said.

Yeah, someone posted this in the ROLASOG thread yesterday. Black Thought sounded very vague in the clip about it though and it sounds like its a way's off but cool nonetheless

Oh shit my bad just so it in that thread? And it may be a bit away and even if it is just one song on the album? It will be nice to see them collaborate again!!!
