Does anyone know what I have to do with downloaded .shn files to convert them to .mp3s? I had no idea where to put this thread, if there's a better place for it please move. Thanks

Fully

I've never even heard of them.

SHN is the old FLAC. It's a lossless compression much like today's FLAC. I haven't really seen them since the early days of downloading (2003?).

I used to use WINAMP to convert them, but I would imagine NERO or other burning programs would recognize them.

When all else fails, Google it and struggle through the conversion. It only makes the music sound that much better when you've worked for it.

Good luck~!

Thanks, Colfax. Actually, johnnYYac answered my question in the Tennessee Fire thread that's going on elsewhere on the forum. He even posted a link to where I can download a converter.

The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.
