It's fair to say that the quiet year we thought was coming will not be quiet at all.....

My guess is 6-10 amphitheaters July-August and i hope they hit Saratoga to make it easy for me....

And then shit will get insane for year-end
What's in here won't disappear

I think my head would explode if I had the chance to see all 3 at 1 show. My head almost exploded when I first heard the Wilco rumor. I saw Dylan a couple summers ago at Montage Mtn and thought him and his band sounded great. His band was tight as shit. I look forward to seeing him again.

Didn't I read somewhere that a 4th band is supposed to be added to the mix? I know Dawes is opening for Dylan so maybe them? Either way this is the best news I've heard all week.

I sure hope the band gets close to a full show, I don't feel like paying $120 for an hour long MMJ set of just Wordless Chorus, Victory Dance, Gideon, First Light, Circuital, Touch Me Pt. 2 and One Big Holiday :undecided:

I'm hoping they do it semi-festival style, where each band gets a 2-hour set. I'm also hoping the 4th band is Dawes, as I've yet to see them and I like some of their tunes, but there are plenty of great young Americana bands that could fit the bill.

Wilco is a definite from what I'm hearing, haven't heard anything about a 4th band but who knows

I'm with you on this. I'd go, but if it ends up being an hour long set like you described, I seriously doubt I'd do more than one show.

OMG, I just heard that the fourth band is Band of Horses!

Just kidding.
My heart can't wait to meet you on the other side.

Hearing Cincinnati July 6

Where? That's super doable for me.

Anyone really know if we are looking at a longer all day show? Or something that will result in super shortened sets? Or when we might hear the announcement with more info?

This seems like speculation to me, and nothing definite here, but according to this they might rotate closing the shows among the bands.

Can we just make a rule that if you have info to stop being so coy about it and just come out with it?

Agree. These aren't nuclear codes, it's a fucking rock tour.

Seriously. Being in the know doesn't make anyone think anyone is cooler

Is Dylan closing then, or are the speculating that Wilco/MMJ switch off?  It doesn't matter to me who closes if each band gets to play a semi-lengthy set.

The link appears to be broke now, but it speculated that the three  would possibly rotate closing.

rotating would be cool... wilco and MMJ are my 1 fav bands so either way I would be one happy chappy.... praying for a philly area show!! I would even do camden for this one!

If the rotation thing is true, I hope they announce who will close each date.  As much respect as I have for Dylan, MMJ and Wilco are in their prime and will close the show on a much higher note.

there's this thing called an embargo.

breaking said embargo can result in people losing their jobs.

Whats the and more mean? Also, if doors open at 4 then does the show start around 4:30, 5? That would give each band roughly 2 hours of play time if they went to midnight.
