Hey, I'm going on a vacation next week to Australia (from NJ/NYC) and I've been trying to research vinyl you can't find in the states but I haven't found anything that really excites me.

I'd be interested in printings you can't find in the US, those foreign tour EPs I've seen, even albums I own with hard to find bonus tracks. Anything cool really! I'm not a huge collector, so I'm not looking to spend too much unless it's a real once in a lifetime opportunity kind of thing.

All help/tips are appreciated!

Which cities are you heading to?  Keep in mind that vinyl down here is way more expensive than what you'd pay for it in the US.  An album that would cost you $18-20 at home will cost you upwards of $35.  Not sure you'll find too many bargains. I usually stock up the other way - when I go to the US.  In saying that, we do have some great record stores, particularly in Melbourne...
At my house, we call them uh-ohs.

I go to Red Eye Records in Sydney. They usually have some cool stuff but nothing that you probably wouldn't find in the US apart from local music.

I'm going to Sydney, Melbourne, and Cairns. I think Sydney is the only place I'll have time to shop though. Thanks.

Also, be aware that vinyl in Australia spins the other way.
The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

And upside down.
The trouble with the straight and the narrow is it's so thin, I keep sliding off to the side
