Still REFUSING TO PARTICIPATE IN GROUND CONTROL'S CLUSTERF@CK.

I've wasted so much time that I'll never get back clicking and reclicking that button to get a will call ticket that I can't get access to until the doors are already open. The only exceptions are hard to get tix and reserved seats.

I'm team REFUSING TO PARTICIPATE IN GROUND CONTROL'S CLUSTERF@CK as well! Could not agree more Beth.

TEAM REFUSING TO PARTICIPATE IN GROUND CONTROL'S CLUSTERF@CK unite!

  (this is for GC, btw)

Yeah! Put that on a banner! (I'm stuck on a cross country train with no cooling system, so a little more aggressive than usual )

In order to get the "add to cart" button, you have to call (877) GND-CTRL. They just ask for your email address, then you log out, log in, and it's fixed.

After my ranting this morning, I'm afraid if I call them and tell them who I am, they'll hang up on me. I'll just get hard tickets tomorrow.

Seems like we shouldn't need this type of super-secret, pain in the ass, mad scramble method of buying presale tix. but thanks for the info.

What the hell happened to just clicking on the tickets link? It really shouldn't be all that hard to have it working.

Add my name to the roster for the TEAM REFUSING TO PARTICIPATE IN GRND CTRL CLUSTERFUCK!

I caved in,  I called the GC customer service and they tweaked my account so I could get access to the presale, I didn't wanna risk getting shut out of the general sale for a venue that only has a a capacity of 600.

Yeah, I'd have made that call too. I only have to battle about 1,250 other Okies to get a Cain's ticket.

I figure this is the last time I'll be seeing  him /  them until next spring, since the Mexican Riviera is not on my radar.

I find it annoying that ticket prices are more expensive when buying through Roll Call. For my show the prices are $5 more per ticket.

Got my ticket yesterday to see Jim in Madison!     This will be my 4th Jim James show!

So will this probably follow the same format as the spring Jim James shows? I want to see him, but since I'd be driving 6 hours and already saw a show of that format (playing his album through, then adding one MMJ song/couple MoF songs/etc), I think I'd want something a bit different. Anybody have any idea?

I'd imagine they'll follow the same format. If it's me, I'd wait and see the setlists from the first couple of shows, and then decide.

Considering Jim's set at Newport, sandwiched between two stops on the AmericanaramA tour, I'd expect his shows to be the same as the spring tour setlists.

Yeah, I keep wanting to go to Birmingham to see him, but then I keep remembering that I've seen him play this show five times already and I just can't make myself buy the ticket. Maybe if I lived in B'ham, I'd already have purchased it.

However, if you go, then you could say you have seen him play this show six times. :) Worth it since he will never do this tour exact show again. DO IT! I saw him 5 times as well and it was beyond worth it. I regret not going to the 6th show I actually had tickets for. It would've been a 3 day trifecta.

Yeah, unless Jim brings Bob Weir along for the night, I don't think I'll regret not going. Five times is enough for me with this show.
