Have you been following what happened in Toronto last week?  Officers confront a young man with a knife on a streetcar, an officer fires 9 shots at the kid and then tazered him. Unfuckingbelievable!

I just don't understand why cops act like this. It's incredibly sad.

Listening to the radio this evening and heard the following "headline": "Should the province get involved and start teaching municipal police to defuse situations before escalating to violence?" And my eyes rolled so hard I had a to see an optometrist! Really?  Police aren't already taught to defuse all charged situations before escalating to violence?!  WTF are police for?!
