I heard Night Still Comes and liked it a great deal. This sounds better to me than most of her other work. I never was a huge fan of her country-tinged stuff. I look forward to hearing the whole album. Don't forget that Bo is on it too.

So looking thru the liner notes Bo plays on every song that has any kind of keys and Jim sings on Night Still Comes.   M. Ward plays guitar on several songs and sings on Madonna of the Wasps, a Robyn Hitchcock cover.

I think the album is pretty fantastic.  I have not listened to a lot of her solo stuff prior but have recently ben listening to the new pornographers a lot.

I will be listening to her back catalog on rdio next few days!

I only know about four Neko Case songs but everything I hear I like. Great write up Ben. I might have to listen to more.
