Saw them open for White Denim last night.  They really brought it.  They closed with the song above and killed it.  Last five minutes of that clip (from a previous show, not from mine) are especially good.

I thought some of you might be interested since they are on the Forecastle bill.

I saw them last night with White Denim too and they killed it.   Great opener.
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

These guys were my number one find in my drunken Forecastle lineup research last night. Can't wait to see 'em!

they were real good at the philly show.  Crowd liked them a lot, but than again I think they said they were from the area?

I saw them Saturday night. For such a young band they have talent. I also loved the mumbled stage banter

MarkW

Just heard Funeral Beds on a SXSW radio review show.  I like their sound.
The trouble with the straight and the narrow is it's so thin, I keep sliding off to the side

they are originally from Lititz PA which is a cool small town just outside Lancaster PA, maybe 75 miles from Philly...where they all live now. signed to Fat Possum Records, booked by a SERIOUS agent who will have them playing the role of road-dogs from years to come!

The word Philly was the only thing I could decipher when the lead singer talked.

Dude can't wait to hear them live.  Just discovered them here a few weeks ago.  I think i'll listen tonight.  or crash.  One of the two.
Can you keep it simple? Can you let the snare crack? Can you let it move without holding back?

Sweet, they are coming back to STL even though they keep getting robbed here.

I was gonna go to the Philly show but found out it is sold out.  I honestly didn't think it would sell out.  was gonna pick up a ticket at the door.  :embarrassed:

Might be able to find one as it gets closer though hopefully.

JerseyDan

These guys killed it at Bowery Ballroom Tuesday, and did this yesterday:

And yes, Saturday is Philly is sold out but I have a feeling if you show up there is a good shot of getting in!
