This January 2014 One Big Holiday event in Mexico sounds too good to pass up, but, like many all-inclusive holidays, there are no affordable options for the solo traveler.  So, if anyone out there is A) also a solo traveling fan or B) anticipates having space for an extra person/new roommate in their party, let me know!

everything is per person anyways so "affordable options for solo travelers" is besides the point. you would just get a king size bed for yourself and $500 in credits all to yourself. its almost more beneficial to go alone with the resort credits in mind but obviously you'd rather go with others

I wish this was the case. The pricing on the site is indeed per person.  However, the minimum available occupancy is 2, which is simply too much for me to even consider.

I'd prefer to go it alone, but $2600 (w/o airfare) is way too steep.

hi there I'm in same position, and i actually joined the forum in hopes of finding a roomie for the mexico excursion. I'm sure you're aware of the "flyin solo" package?  If your still looking to join forces let me know?

If anybody else is looking for roommate for the shows, give a shout!

I am planning on traveling solo. The price looks the same to me if I get a shared room with a stranger, or book it double. What is the lure with your offer that I may be missing? Not a sarcastic question, just wondering if I am missing something.

I believe all prices are "per person", so if you book a double, you pay double... or get a roommate. I'm not going, so what do I care? (yet I'm reading this thread...)
The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

My roomie backed out. Seems I am stuck w a king bed etc.....anyone want in, we can take turns using the bed. I have one of those rooms with a sky terrace.

Seems to be some confusion...

Price is hardly "per person" unless you plan on doing the solo-program and being paired up with someone based on a short survey... No matter what, you're sharing a room with someone or paying for TWO people to stay in a room. People who think they're gonna book one room for 1250 and have a place to themselves are in for a shitty wake up call.

don't rock bottom, just listen just slow down...

I have a room booked and looking for somebody to fill the room with me. If you're still looking at this late date, let me know!
