I just saw something called Gasparilla Music Fest, March 8 in FLA.  Coulc be good for Mr. and Mrs. Mahg33ta... Delta Spirit and J Roddy plus a bunch more.

I've had my eye on this, can't figure out how to get there.   Just had a meeting in Tampa snowed out so maybe I can reschedule around this.   Dinky festivals with VIP sections are great ways to meet the bands.

love that Jim is the background for NFF's twitter page

That is a terrific photo.  It was available to purchase last year at some point (unfortunately I can't remember who was selling it though or have any idea if it sold out).

Cool.  Just looked again and noticed Brooke and her yellow sunglasses!

Yes!  Totally recognize you and the Red Sox hat now.  I would get that picture and frame if for my wall if I could get a Jim signature along with yours and Brooke's on there.

I've got my eye solely on Mountain Jam because of solo Tweedy. Plus ABB, Avett Bros., Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Jonathan Wilson, TBT and a few more worth mentioning but I won't. Of course if Tweedy decides to do an east coast solo tour I'll skip this entirely.

Looks like this festival in the Catskills Mountains is a go!

The Hudson Project will go down July 11th-13th.

Verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry interested to see what kind of lineup they'll put together.

Good rumors continue to fly too...

Ulster County Legislator Chris Allen, D-Saugerties, said the bands My Morning Jacket and Bassnectar are among the acts expected for the festival, which will span multiple days and offer camping. Helsmoortel said 20,000 people are expected to attend.

Give me the Jacket and I'm there. I'm sure that applies to a lot of people around here, too.

What a lovely excuse to get back to Saugerties. And what a lovely time of year it would be to visit the region.

LINEUP! PRESENT YOURSELF!

If that was Jackets only show of the summer is consider it. Unfortunately for me I have to start being smarter about my finances these days.
don't rock bottom, just listen just slow down...

Chicago Tribune says Lolla headliners are Eminem, Arctic Monkeys, Skillrex, and Kings of Leon.  Doubtful that will get many people on here rushing to buy tickets, but I thought the info was interesting.

I like Arctic Monkeys quite a bit, but this may be the saddest top end of a US festival I have ever seen.
My heart can't wait to meet you on the other side.

There's gotttttta be another headliner in there. Outkast already has Osheaga and OVO Fest booked that weekend, and the biggest moneymaker in music is hitting up the LOO circuit in one weekend, so I definitely expect them to be at Lolla.

Arcade Fire have shows in Chicago later in the month, so that seemingly makes them unlikely but I've got this weird suspicion that Lolla may break their radius clause for such a huge act at the top of their game. I also imagine the AF dates in Chicago are sold out anyway.

The format of Lolla is to have either 5 or 6 headliners, but the remaining 1 or 2 would have to be freaking awesome to make up for the tired dreck (Eminem, Skrillex, KOL) and one decent act that has no business headlining a US festival (Arctic Monkeys) that have already been confirmed.

Pearl Jam is rumored to be another headliner.  There was some sort of tweet or retweet from Lolla hinting of PJ.
