I have a set of download codes I will not be using (both the wife and I received a set).  I will be happy to share those with another Jacketeer.  The first juinor member or greater that didn't get to go to OBH that PMs me gets the codes.

Peace.

pm sent!

We have our winner.  Congrats to "dontgetupset".

Hopefully others in the same boat as myself that received two sets of codes will share appropriately.

I'd gladly take any extra codes.  And if not...I'll gladly purchase.

At work listening to 3rd night for the first time since being there... Harvest-Carried-O just stopped me dead in my tracks! I'm a 37 year old dude that just wept like a child! How is this happening!!!!??

I hear you. These songs hit you in a place that's hard to explain. We're the same age and I've had the same reaction. I felt the same way watching them sound check Golden at OBH. No matter what band it is I hope everyone at some point in their life finds that song that evokes the same kinds of emotions. It is an awesome, unexplainable feeling.

As Fonzie infamously said "Exactemundo!"

My wife and I walked out to the sound check on Sunday and it was a surreal moment... definitely one of the strongest lasting memories of the week, and there were plenty!

The rest of my work day was just as strong and powerful with the rest of the set... remodeling an old echoing apartment by yourself with the show blasting off the hallowed room walls was the trigger. Dare I say, great day!

I can never do top lists of songs or shows... one thing I know, that third show will forever be a special night to us, and there are so many reasons that I can't even think of them all at once.

Listening to OBH back in San Diego and thinking of the most amazing vacation with so many cool people, including but not limited to:

Steven and Linhda (hangin', Austin)
Dexter (Humboldt, not-McLovin')
Chris and Holly (SLC, Holdra)
Jamie and Dan (outside Philly)
Jennifer and Michael (Louisville)
Kiersten and Jordan (NC; at pool; bought guitar)
Drew and Allie (Lafayette LA, Dawes, bingo)
Patrick (Blackhawks fan, sweet beard)
Kirsten Cohen (great photography)
Nick and Nicole (Philly)

This feelin' is wonderful....see you next year.

Jim and Melanie

Does anybody know the tune that plays when the band comes out on stage?  I know they've been using it for years, but every time I hear it I get goosebumps like I'm back at a show.

I'm glad he got the codes. Now he doesn't have to support the 1% that is MMJ and can donate to charity.

Mona Lisa must'a had the highway blues, you can tell by the way she smiles.

Me too that shit was sick!
Anytime your war gets out of hand, I'll take it on.

I think night 3 might be my least favorite. That set 1 run of O is the One, Strangulation, Run Thru (end), and Dondante is just fantastic, but can't bring it up to the awesomeness of night 2 in general, and I think night 1's first set run of Heartbreakin' Man through Steam Engine is just as good, plus the Bob Weir run is great.  If I had to rank right now, I would say:

2
1
3

But I'm still acquainting myself and reserve the right to change my mind.

The Radar Watches Me

Got all 3 shows over the weekend. Been listening to them almost non-stop since. Had to get on here to say how much I love them! Thank you My Morning Jacket!
I hope you make it on this Earth.

Night 3 is my fav followed by 2 than 1.. But what can I say they are all fantastic in their own way

Great line justbcuz.  However, I was hoping there would be enough sales to push MMJ into the 0.5% and then they can donate to charity.

Nobody has mentioned this: Jim's voice is not at his best. Don't get me wrong, the shows are enjoyable to listen too, but his voice isn't what it usually is. Maybe he had a cold or something. I'm still enjoying all The Grateful Jacket songs and the rarities plus Carried Away.

You can hear some sniffling here and there throughout the recordings.  Doesn't bother me in the least.

I've picked out Slow Slow Tune as one of my favorites of the entire series.  I've have so much more respect for this song now that I've seen it live.  Initially, on Circuital, it was a skip-able track for me.

O and strangulation are phenomenal, Dondante too.  I feel ripped off every time I hear that stupid outro Run Thru.  Such a great song to cut short.  I want my money back.
